אצטדיון נתניה

מהאצטדיונים החדישים והאיכותיים בכדורגל הישראלי, אשר משמש את מכבי נתניה והפועל רעננה במשחקיהן הביתיים. החל מעונת 2016/17 גם מכבי תל אביב מארחת את משחקיה באצטדיון זה, בעקבות השיפוצים בבלומפילד. בעונת 2018/19 חדרה הצטרפה גם כן למכבי נתניה ומכבי ת''א והיא מארחת בו את משחקי הבית שלה.

האצטדיון נחנך בנובמבר 2012, בהתמודדות בין מכבי נתניה להפועל תל אביב (1:2). רעננה החלה לשחק בו באופן רשמי עם עלייתה לליגת העל בעונת 2013/14. האצטדיון, שמכיל כ-14,000 מקומות ישיבה, היווה שדרוג משמעותי ותחליף לאצטדיון ה-"קופסא", מגרשה הביתי הישן של מכבי נתניה.

האצטדיון אירח כבר משחקים חשובים כמו גמר גביע המדינה במאי 2013 בו זכתה הפועל רמת גן אחרי ניצחון על קרית שמונה, משחקים באליפות אירופה עד גיל 21 ואת משחקי אלוף האלופים.

זווית הישיבה הגבוהה, לצד העובדה שהאוהדים בשורות הראשונות קרובים מאד לדשא, הופכים את האצטדיון לביתי וחם כאשר הוא מאוכלס במלואו. הוא מכיל יציע תקשורת, יציע כבוד ו-36 תאי צפייה VIP מיוחדים. בנוסף לכך, הצפי הוא כי בעתיד תינתן האפשרות לבניית שני יציעים נוספים מאחורי השערים, ובכך יוגדל מספר מקומות הישיבה לכ-24,000.

יציע מערבי תחתון (101-109): מאכלס את אוהדי הקבוצה המארחת.

יציע מערבי עליון (201-209): מאכלס את אוהדי הקבוצה המארחת.

יציע מזרחי עליון ותחתון (20-21): מאכלס את אוהדי הקבוצה האורחת.

איך מגיעים?

האצטדיון ממוקם ברחוב אברהם שפירא בעיר נתניה.

באוטובוס: קו 606 יוריד אתכם בתחנת גשר השלום, משם האצטדיון נמצא במרחק מספר דקות הליכה. בנוסף, קווים 48, 48 א', 20 ו-15 מגיעים בסמוך לאצטדיון.

ברכבת: ניתן לרדת בתחנת בית יהושע ומשם להמתין למוניות שירות (קווים 84 ו-79). אפשרות נוספת היא ירידה בתחנת נתניה, לצאת ביציאה האחורית לכיוון איזור התעשייה ולעלות על קו 15.

ברכב: יש לעלות על כביש 2 (חיפה), ולהתחבר לכביש 5611 (כפר נטר ספיר). בהמשך יש לפנות ימינה לאיזור התעשייה ספיר צפון, ומשם ניתן יהיה להבחין באצטדיון ולהיעזר בשילוט.

Maccabi Netanya FC was founded in 1934 and is responsible for a major part of the Israeli football history, both in terms of players, fans, phrases and cheerleading songs. The "Netanyatim", who are also known as "Diamonds", have created the grand tradition already in the 1970's, an era which is still known as the "golden age" of Maccabi Netanya FC. Mordechai Shpigler, who is also today known as one of the greatest Israeli football players, was Netanya FC's only past player who helped Israel reach the 1970 FIFA World Cup and even scored a goal in one of them. Motal'e had already got warmed up in 1967 while winning the Israeli premier league's "king of goals" title. In the season of 1970/1971 Maccabi Netanya FC won her first League Championship. At the time, the "Diamonds" were led by stars such as Shpigler, Lupa Kadosh, Victor Sarusi, Albert Gazl and more talented players. A season later, Maccabi Netanya FC had almost been relegated to the second division, but the decrease was only temporary. In the season of 1973/1974 Oded Machnes joined the team and turned into a "titles contractor" who got Netanya FC the championship plate for the second time in its history. The peak of that period, and probably so far, was during the 1977/1978, when Maccabi Netanya FC had finally succeeded in winning the National cup beating Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv FC in the final. Maccabi Netanya FC had also won the League Championship in the end of the season. That Championship got the team an entrance ticket to the Intertoto Cup competition. Maccabi Netany FC won the Intertoto cup, a unique title which an Israeli team had never won before. Maccabi Netanya FC's hegemony continued until the end of the decade, while in 1979/1980 the team won its fourth League Championship in a decade. The phrase "Netanya plus 15" was known among every football fan, after it was first expressed by Motal'e Shpigler in the season of 1982/1983 when he began coaching the team in which he starred. Under Motale's guidance the team continued controlling the league after winning her 5th League Championship title. Many see this championship as the end of the golden age of Maccabi Netanya FC. That winning in 1982/1983 is so far the last title the team won as part of the Israeli premier league. Maccabi Netanya FC continued the 1980's with medium abilities, unlike the former decade. During the 1990's the club was relegated to the second division and returned to the premier league only in the end of the decade under Uri Malmilian's guidance. Also in the year 2000 the "Diamonds" didn’t do well, except one season in which it finished in 4th place and one performance in the Intertoto Cup. In 2005 the club was purchased by Daniel Yamer, who didn't get the club any titles. The best the team got was champion's deputy both in 2006/2007 and 2007/2008. Maccabi Netanya FC continued her journey in the European campaign also in 2009/2010 qualifying to the third round of the European League, until it got dismissed by the Turkish Galatsrii FC. In early 2010 Yamer left the club in the hands of Kobi Baldav who had succeeded to get the team to finish in good places and playing in Europe at the first years, but later on Maccabi Netanya FC got relegated to the second division after many years in the premier league. At that same year the team opened its new home stadium, "Netanya stadium" but played there only a year later during the national league. As expected, after one year in the National league Maccabi Netanya FC managed to rise up and reach the premier league, after the team was purchased by Eli Segev and Yossi Maor. At the same season the team got even the National cup final losing to Hapoel Kiryat Shmona FC.
